I Comedian Eshetu Melese. Over the past five years, through the infinite grace of God and the unwavering support of our loyal followers, I have built Donkey Tube—a pioneering YouTube channel in the Ethiopian social media industry. Together, we have grown a community of over 3,100,000 loyal subscribers. By the grace of the Almighty, we have successfully raised more than 1.2 Billion Birr for various charitable causes.
Reflecting on the work I have done and the lessons I have learned over these years, I, Eshetu Melese, have decided to pivot the direction of my life’s work. From this point forward, I will focus my efforts on rural Ethiopia. My mission will be to serve mothers who have children with medical needs and to create sustainable opportunities that will transform their lives and futures.
Establish a transformative, multi-faceted Community Development Center in Tullamba, Debre Berhan, envisioned by renowned Ethiopian comedian and philanthropist Eshetu Melese. The center aims to holistically empower the local community by addressing critical gaps in education, healthcare, economic opportunity, and social welfare.
Our mission is to build an inclusive healing village where mothers and children with disabilities – especially autism and paralysis – receive education, therapy, medical care, and economic opportunities, so that families move from hopelessness to dignity, independence, and full participation in their community.
Lemetsedek transforms stories of struggle into stories of strength. Through physiotherapy, education, and entrepreneurship, we restore dignity and open doors to opportunity for children with disabilities and their families. Our impact reaches beyond treatment — it rebuilds futures, creates jobs, and inspires a culture of inclusion across Ethiopia.

"Our child has autism. We used to rely on my husband's income, but the day he found out about our daughter's condition, he abandoned us and disappeared. Now, we are living in great hardship. I support us by collecting discarded plastic bottles. In the neighborhood, my identity has been erased because of my child; instead of my name, people call me 'the sick child's mother.' If I could get some startup capital, I want to start my own small business."
"I cannot go out to work with my child. I couldn't afford the equipment needed to work from home, but if I had a washing machine, I would be able to work from my house." Recently, thanks to community support raised through a TikTok Live, we purchased a washing machine for this mother.
